192.168.1.1 – SFR Access your Neufbox to administer it

192.168.1.1 SFR. Go to http://192.168.1.1 to simplify the configuration of your various devices, it may be interesting to change the WIFI key or the SSID (name of the WIFI network you connect to) (not to be confused with 192.168. ll).
On the contrary if you do not use WiFi you can turn it off for energy saving and reduce your exposure to the waves.

Connection to NeufBox
To access your NeufBox go to this address http://192.168.1.1

Once the page is open, enter the identifiers.
Username: admin
Default password: the wifi key on the box

Changing the WiFi key
Once you have logged in, first go to the top WiFi tab and then to the Security tab.

In this tab you will be able to choose the encryption that it is advisable to leave by default unless you know what you are doing.

At the very bottom you will be able to choose the key you want then validate.

Change the SSID (WiFi network name)
Once connected, first go to the top WiFi tab and then to the Configuration tab.

Next to SSID you can enter the name of the network you want.

It is advisable to leave the other default settings.

By disabling the broadcast of the SSID you will not see it displayed during a search on your equipment (smartphone, …)?

Changing the channel can sometimes improve the quality of WiFi reception, but it can also make it worse.

At the end do not forget to validate.

All you have to do is enter the new name of your WiFi network and click on save.

Once connected, first go to the top WiFi tab and then to the Configuration tab.
